The latest smartwatch to join the crowd funding arena is the A.I Watch. The team behind the smartwatch is looking for a $100,000 funding on Indiegogo.

Their Indiegogo funding campaign has just started and has garnered around $5,000 worth of funding. As it is now, the Early Birds Special price of $179 is still available. Once that is sold out, remaining watches will be sold at $199. The watch is expected to eventually retail for $279.

The A.I Watch offers similar functions to smartwatches that offer full cellular connectivity and run on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. It features a 1.54 inch capacitive display with 240 by 240 pixels. It contains a dual core 1.2 GHz processor with 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB internal storage and a 5 megapixel camera. The smartwatch is also capable of GPS, Wifi and Bluetooth.

It contains a 500 mAh battery that is supposed to last up to 100 hours on standby. It also has a suite of sensors such as an accelerometer, compass and gyroscope. It will work with the 850/900/1800/1900 network bands for cellular connectivity and will also have access to the Google Play Store.

The watches will ship with a USB cable, USB adapter, SIM card ejector tool, watch stand and headset. Deliveries are expected to bring around December 2013.
